The preliminary design of the supporting wharf project of Putian project was approved by the Ministry of Transport
Recently, the preliminary design of the wharf project of our company's LNG receiving station project was approved by the Ministry of Transport, marking a major progress in the project and laying a solid foundation for the construction of the project. During the process of preliminary design approval, the Ministry of Transport, governments at all levels in Fujian Province and Putian City, as well as relevant departments such as transportation, development and reform, port and shipping, maritime Safety Administration, Natural Resources Bureau, Eco-Environmental Protection Bureau, Emergency Management Bureau, Quality and Safety Center, and Pilot Station, have given strong support.
The wharf project of Putian project is located in Dongwu operation area of Meizhou Bay Port. It will build one 150,000 ton LNG berth with a maximum reliable berthing capacity of 217,000 cubic meters LNG ships, and a designed annual throughput capacity of 6 million tons. It will also build one working boat wharf, bridge, flare platform, harbor pool and connected water dredging, navigation facilities and other related supporting facilities. The wharf project is an important component of the LNG receiving station project. The implementation of the project is of great significance in giving full play to the resource advantages of Meizhou Bay Port, improving the storage capacity of natural gas supply and storage in Fujian and Ningxia provinces (districts) and the surrounding areas, and promoting economic development in the eastern and western regions.
In the next step, the project will carry out construction drawing design and engineering approval and bidding work in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and requirements of the preliminary design approval to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
