The delegation of the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission visited for investigation
On July 12th, Li Qili, head of the Planning and Production Capacity Division of the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, and his subordinate Zhao Jing visited the construction command office of the Hanas Putian Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal Project to conduct a field survey on the project's progress. Zhou Yuanxun, a Second-level Inspector of the Industry Division of the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Chen Zengrun, a Deputy Director of the Industry Division of the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Cheng Zhenyu, Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Putian City, Gong Guansheng, Director of the Beian Economic Development Zone Management Committee, and related principal officials from Beian's relevant departments accompanied the survey.
At the construction site in Putian, the survey team visited the project exhibition hall and the construction command office, listened to the report by the Beian Management Committee on the construction of the Hanas Putian LNG Terminal Project, and fully affirmed the phased achievements obtained in the project. The survey team stated that the Hanas Putian LNG Terminal Project is the first major energy project invested in by Ningxia in Fujian Province, as well as a landmark project of mutual investment between Minjiang cooperation. The successful implementation of the project can provide a reference for cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia in the Ningxia (Fujian) Industrial Cooperation Zone. It is hoped that the project, as a national key natural gas planning project, will gradually improve the industrial layout, further promote local new energy industry gathering and improve natural gas supply capabilities in Fujian Province and its neighboring areas. The project will also provide strong support for helping with national energy transformation, ensuring national energy security, and achieving "carbon neutrality" goals.
