On April 14, 2021, Weng Liangda, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Meizhou Bay North Bank Economic Development Zone in Putian City, and his delegation investigated the Hanas LNG plant and the East thermal power plant. Wang Shaobo, Vice President of the Group, and other leaders accompanied the investigation. The two sides held a discussion on how to strengthen cooperation in the midstream LNG sector. During the visit, Weng Liangda and his delegation listened to introductions from each business unit of the plant and reviewed the workflow of each production aspect in detail. At the symposium, Weng Liangda said that through this investigation, he had gained a more intuitive, comprehensive, and in-depth understanding of Hanas. The construction of the LNG project has optimized the regional energy structure, reduced the consumption of petroleum products, and significantly cut emissions of carbon dioxide, sulfides, nitrides, and particulate matter. It is an effective measure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, control air pollution, prevent acid rain, and improve the ecological environment. The Hanas Putian LNG project is a clean and environmentally friendly energy project, which will make a significant contribution to improving the environment in Fujian Province. We hope to cooperate with Hanas to jointly expand the midstream LNG market.
