Leaders of the Management Committee of the North Shore Economic Development Zone of Meizhou Bay in Putian City Visited the Group for an Investigation Tour

On May 27-28, 2023, Yu Xiaodong, Party Committee Secretary of the Meizhou Bay North Shore Economic Development Zone of Putian City, and his delegation made an inspection tour to Hanas Group for investigation and research, and held a discussion with the Group's Chairman Ma Fuqiang.

Yu Xiaodong and his delegation visited the Ningxia Hanas Liquefied Natural Gas Co., Ltd., the Ningxia Hanas Natural Gas Dispatching Center, the Ningxia Eastern Thermal Power Co., Ltd., and the Inner Mongolia Wind Power Base of Ningxia Hanas New Energy Group. They learned about the development history, green management philosophy, and clean energy business structure of Hanas Group. They also conducted on-site exchanges on standardized operation, safe production, refined management, and digital transformation of various companies.

Ma Fuqiang welcomed the arrival of Yu Xiaodong and his delegation, and expressed gratitude to Putian City and the North Shore Economic Development Zone for their consistent help and support over the years. He pointed out that Hanas Group has always adhered to the concept of green sustainable development, deeply developed the clean energy industry such as natural gas. Under the guidance and promotion of the Party and the state's policies and the care for private enterprises, the group's various undertakings have developed steadily and healthily. He said that the Hanas Putian LNG receiving terminal project, a key project under the Fujian-Ningxia cooperation, is crucial for Hanas Group to fully integrate the natural gas value chain. The project integrates the advantages of clean energy development and utilization in Ningxia with the development advantages of Fujian's coastal port industry. It is conducive to achieving "multi-source" gas supply security and expanding green energy innovation in both provinces. The project will be designed and constructed with high standards to create a benchmark project for Fujian-Ningxia cooperation. He emphasized that the project's construction could not be achieved without the joint promotion mechanism of Fujian-Ningxia cooperation and the care and support of Party committees and governments at all levels in both provinces. Over the years, Putian City and the North Shore Economic Development Zone have treated entrepreneurs as their own people, actively helped enterprises, and forged a healthy and clean relationship between government and enterprises, creating synergy for entrepreneurship and achievement. In the next step, both sides should further deepen exchanges, strengthen resource sharing, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly contribute to deepening and solidifying Fujian-Ningxia cooperation.

Yu Xiaodong said that Hanas Group has closely followed China's growing demand for clean energy and people's continuous pursuit of a better life. It has done substantial work in comprehensively improving its ability to supply green and low-carbon energy. While achieving high-quality development, the enterprise has also achieved a unity of economic returns and social responsibilities, achieving remarkable results. He emphasized that the implementation of the Hanas Putian LNG receiving station project will further improve the natural gas production, supply, storage, transportation, and marketing system in Fujian and Ningxia, and promote complementary advantages and resource integration between Fujian and Ningxia. At present, under the requirements of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee's "Deep Learning Strives for Excellence, Dare to Be First, Practicing Effectiveness" action and the Putian Municipal Party Committee's "One Five Two Three Four" work deployment, the North Shore Economic Development Zone will continue to provide "special-task-team" service to ensure the quality, quantity, and speed of project construction. He pointed out that it is hoped that taking the Hanas Putian LNG receiving station as an opportunity, the enterprise's resource advantages, concept advantages, and management advantages will be brought to Putian, improving the layout of the upstream, midstream, and downstream industrial chains, promoting the agglomeration of local new energy industry and strengthening the port economy.
