Signing Ceremony for Terminal Engineering Survey and Preliminary Design of Putian LNG Receiving Terminal Project Successfully Held

On the afternoon of June 8, 2022, the signing ceremony for the terminal engineering survey and preliminary design of the Hanas Putian LNG Receiving Terminal Project, a major Fujian-Ningxia collaboration project, was held in Putian. Putian Hanas LNG Co., Ltd. and CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Investigation & Design Institute Co., Ltd. signed the "Contract for Terminal Engineering Survey and Preliminary Design of the Hanas Putian LNG Receiving Terminal Project". Mr. Kong Ansheng, General Manager of Putian Company, and Mr. Chen Zhehuai, Deputy General Manager of CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Investigation & Design Institute, attended and witnessed the signing.

Both parties signed the contract for the investigation and preliminary design of the terminal project.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Kong Ansheng expressed his heartfelt thanks to CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Investigation & Design Institute for its consistent support. He said that CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Investigation & Design Institute is one of the few design institutes in China holding the "Three Comprehensive and One A" qualification, and has strong project delivery capability as well as extensive expertise and services in the field of LNG waterborne transportation engineering. This cooperation marks a new step forward for both parties in the LNG sector. It is hoped that both parties will give full play to their respective advantages and go all out to build a model project for Fujian-Ningxia collaboration, contribute to the high-quality development of the regional port economy, and add momentum to the national energy transition.

Chen Zhehuai expressed his sincere gratitude to Hanas for its trust. He pointed out that the Hanas Putian LNG Receiving Terminal Project is the first major energy project invested in and constructed by Ningxia enterprises in Fujian Province, and is a landmark project representing two-way investment under the Fujian-Ningxia cooperation framework. CCCC-FHDI will, as always, leverage its advantages and go all out to provide technical support services. It will collaborate in good faith with Hanas Putian, strictly control the project quality and progress, and make positive contributions to achieving low-carbon and green development.

Mr. Liu Dianmin, Deputy General Manager of Putian Company, and Mr. Zheng Ke, Deputy General Manager of the relevant division of CCCC-FHDI and President of its Fujian Branch, signed the contract on behalf of both parties. Mr. He Wenqin, Deputy Chief Engineer of CCCC-FHDI, Mr. Lian Shishui, Deputy Chief Engineer of the division, and other relevant personnel attended the signing ceremony.
